End of Life Nutrition Care: Evidence Review and Stakeholder Consultation
What is this Study about?
Resources are needed to aid healthcare providers and families in making end-of-life nutrition care decisions with residents living in long-term care settings. We aim to co-produce supportive tools tailored for use in the Saskatchewan long-term care context.
Focus group discussions will be held with groups of family care partners to explore their perspectives and support needs related to end of life nutrition decision-making and to explore the resources and tools that would be helpful to them.
The anticipated outcome is a foundation of evidence to co-produce and test interventions to enhance end of life nutrition care in Saskatchewan long-term care.
