Position Summary

The Senior Manager of Marketing and Communications provides strategic leadership for all marketing, communications, brand management, and public engagement activities. This opportunity is intended to strengthen organizational capacity, support staff development, and enhance alignment across programs, fundraising, and communications.

The Senior Manager works closely with the Executive Director to provide strategic direction while supporting effective operational execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of an integrated marketing and communications strategy aligned with organizational priorities
  • Provide strategic oversight for brand positioning, messaging, and public awareness initiatives
  • Oversee internal and external communications to ensure consistency, clarity, and accessibility
  • Strengthen donor and stakeholder engagement through coordinated communications and stewardship
  • Support fundraising and grant activities through storytelling, impact reporting, and campaign alignment
  • Ensure marketing calendars support timely promotion of programs, events, and initiatives
  • Monitor performance metrics and report outcomes to the Executive Director
  • Ensure compliance with privacy, accessibility, and brand standards

  • Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience in marketing, communications, fundraising, or stakeholder engagement
  • Experience within the non-profit, healthcare, or social services sector considered an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically while supporting operational delivery
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using data or performance indicators to guide decision-making
