Dr. Roger Butler
- Dr. Roger Butler is an Associate Professor of Family Medicine at Memorial University.
- In 2013, he was named Family Physician of the Year for Newfoundland & Labrador, an award granted to College of Family Physicians of Canada who exemplify the best of what being a family doctor is all about.
- Dr. Butler has been involved with the Newfoundland & Labrador Medical Association, Eastern Health & the Provincial Department of Health & Community Services to try and develop programs to help our frail seniors who have no family physician in the community as well as improve their care in the emergency room and hospital wards.
- Dr. Roger Butler manages the Provincial Home Dementia Program to improve the quality of life for those living with dementia.
- Currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Alzheimer Society of Newfoundland and Labrador
