We offer our in-person programs in a mask friendly environment and ask that participants of in-person groups refrain from attending a program if they are feeling unwell.

We are here to help

Our staff and volunteers provide support programs, educational resources, referral services and more to improve the quality of life for people living with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias, as well as their caregivers and families.

Experience has shown that the earlier people begin to learn and strategize about living with dementia, the better they are prepared. Earlier preparation can also help caregivers and families provide support as the disease progresses.

We hope you will find comfort in knowing that you are not alone.

Getting Started

Whether you are concerned that you may have dementia, have been recently diagnosed or are supporting someone living with dementia, the Alzheimer Society can help you get the information you need.

There are two ways to start accessing our programs and services:

  1. Your doctor or other community health partner can make a direct referral for you through our First Link® program
  2.  You can connect with us yourself for information or if you'd like to join a program by calling our office at  705-722-1066 or emailing simcoecounty@alzheimersociety.ca

We process all new referrals by date they are received regardless of how they come to us.
