Bowling for Brain Health
We are hosting a bowling fundraiser event on Sunday, January 19th, 2025 – meet us at Bowlerama Barrie from 9am-12pm. You can register your team, join a team, or join as an individual (we will allocate you to a team)
Join the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County for a fundraiser, Bowling for Brain Health, on Sunday, Jan. 19. Sign-in starts at 9 am and playing begins at 10 am, and runs until noon. This is a family-friendly event open to all ages and all lanes will use the small bowling balls.
January is Alzheimer's Awareness Month, and each January, we ask people to Light It Up Blue to encourage awareness and education to make our community more dementia-friendly.
It's proven that exercise stimulates memory and thinking skills, while helping to enhance mobility and strength. Bowling as a group is also a fun way for social interaction and team building, which also stimulates parts of your brain! Meet the Society staff and enjoy a New Year fun brain health activity for all.
Our Bowling for Brain Health is also a fundraiser for the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County, to help provide much needed programs and services for FREE to people living with dementia in Simcoe County.
The event is open for registration until January 13th.
The cost of per individual is $25 – registration fees are not tax deductible. There is room for a maximum of 10 teams ('lanes') with 6 people per team.
You do not need to register as part of a team, we will connect you with others to form a team.
