Thank you to Quayle's Brewery
Thank you to Catherine, and all her staff members from Quayle's Brewery in Coldwater, for their support of Oma's Ride.
The Brewery made a $10,000 donation to the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County, on behalf of the partnership.
The inaugural Oma's Ride, generously sponsored by the Barrie Colts Foundation, was held Sunday, Sept. 29 at the Brewery, with 100 participants riding 20k, 50k or 100k throughout Simcoe County and Muskoka.
In total, more than $54,000 was raised from participants.
Revenue generated through our events supports the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County in creating more access to programs and services for people living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, and their care partners. Donations go to program support so we can continue to offer our services for free.
By supporting the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County, you are sharing in the vision to see persons living with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias, and their care partners, to live well and thrive in their community.
Currently, there are more than 11,500 people living with dementia in Simcoe County.
