This year's IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's was a record-breaking success. You helped raised more than $110,000 for provide programs and services for York Region residents impacted by dementia. Thank you. #IGWalkforAlz

Walk 17,000 steps - one step for every York Region resident impacted by dementia.

We asked you to do the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's your way and did - people biked, walked, jogged and did an exercise class in support of York Region residents impacted by dementia.

On behalf of the Alzheimer Society of York Region, thank you for participating in #IGWalkforAlz Saturday, May 29. Teams and individuals joined the walk to raise awareness and funds in support of their families, friends and neighbours. More than $110,000 as raised, a record-breaking amount for our walks.

Thank you as well to those who shared their posts on social media, tagged AS York and sent in pictures. Despite not being together for the second year in a row, it was still a fun day. Watch the video to see some of our amazing participants.
