National Caregiver Day

April 1 is National Caregiver Day

Learn more about how you can support caregivers.

National Caregiver Day

At AS York we mark National Caregiver Day by recognizing the dedication of caregivers and expressing our thanks for all caregivers do to care for people living with dementia. When a caregiver is well, the person living with dementia is more likely to live well . That is why so many of the programs at AS York support caregivers.

Mark National Caregiver Day by learning more about the challenges faced by caregivers and how to better support them.

Here some great great ways to  support those in our lives caring for a person living with dementia:

1. Watch the Caring for the Caregiver webinar
2.  Make a donation to support Programs for Caregivers
3. Read about the experiences of other caregivers. Find out how to get a copy of Hearts Linked by Courage.
4. Review the brochure "Ways to Help" .
