Local Research Opportunities

Find the latest research opportunities for individuals living with dementia and their care partners.

Participants Needed!

Ontario Tech University is looking for individuals who have experience with care provided by specialized geriatric services (SGS) to participate in a research study exploring perspectives on decision-making and goal-setting.

Seeking to engage two distinct groups of individuals for interviews, based on the criteria listed below:

a person living with dementia and/or a care partner supporting a person with dementia who has experience with care provided by specialized geriatric services in the province of Ontario; and
a clinician (i.e. a member of a regulated health profession working in specialized geriatric services)
capable of participating in an interview in English.

Interviews will be 30-45 minutes in length (persons with dementia and/or care partners), or 45-90 minutes (clinicians). Interviews can be conducted online or by telephone.
