The money raised by our fundraising events stays within our local chapters. It allows us to provide increased awareness, information, education, and support to individuals affected by Alzheimer's disease and other dementias and their care partners.
The Alzheimer Society Lanark Leeds Grenville offers unique and exciting fundraising events throughout the year. Each event provides an opportunity to volunteer, sponsor, donate or attend.

Participate in Alzheimer's Awareness Month every January!
Each January, the Alzheimer Society supports and leads Canada's Alzheimer's Awareness Month to encourage people across Canada to learn more about dementia and its impact.
This year, the Alzheimer Society calls on Canadians to take a stand against the silence and stigma that surrounds dementia. On January 28, 2026, Alzheimer Societies across Canada will participate in a National Day of Action.
This year's "Forget No One” campaign highlights the stigma people living with dementia experience – and its impact on care partners and the community. For Alzheimer Societies, “Forget No One” is a reminder that no one should face dementia alone.
Join us on Wednesday January 28, 2026, to show your support, combat stigma, and “Forget No One by wearing a Forget-Me-Not pin and posting a picture on social media. Be sure to use the hashtag #ForgetNoOne and tag us on Facebook.
