“Stay out of Fraud’s Reach” presented by Lisa Legere, Financial and Consumer Services Commission
Frauds and scams come in many different forms, so they can sometimes be difficult to spot. Attendees will be able to protect themselves by learning about:
- common types of frauds and scams
- spotting the red flags of fraud
- recognizing signs of financial abuse
- reporting frauds and scams
Meet the presenter:
Lisa Legere is FCNB’s Education Coordinator. She travels the province to talk to New Brunswickers of all ages about financial wellness topics.
Lisa has over 15 years experience in the Multimedia and Education fields including graphic designing math resources for educators and instructing for the College of Extended Learning at UNB and the Center for Arts and Technology in Fredericton, NB. At the college level, Lisa delivered professional development courses, including budgeting, small business management and business plan writing.
Her education credentials include diplomas in Courseware Authoring, Multimedia and Professional Photography. Most recently, Lisa completed her Bachelor of Integrated Studies in Adult Education at UNB.
