Anything for Alzheimer’s
Anything for Alzheimer's enables people to host independent fundraising events to support people affected by dementia and make a difference in their community!
Take your own creative idea, talent, or passion, and turn it into a fundraiser in support of those affected by Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia!
All year long, New Brunswickers take on the rewarding role of hosting fundraisers on behalf of the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick. Now YOU can be a fundraiser too! Anything for Alzheimer’s makes it easy for you to fundraise by taking your unique idea and making it a success. It just takes a little creativity, some planning, and the desire to make a difference in the lives of people affected by dementia.
Why get involved?
Your fundraising is essential to help us support people affected by Alzheimer's or another form of dementia in our province. For the thousands of people in New Brunswick living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, you will provide Help for Today. Hope for Tomorrow…® AND do your own thing in your own unique way.
Making an Impact
All funds raised in New Brunswick stay in the province!
Funds raised enable us to offer and expand our free programs and services in communities throughout the province. These services include: our toll-free InfoLine, monthly caregiver support networks, family education series, public information sessions, and our 4 resource centres that offer a wide variety of information for caregivers and persons living with dementia.

Golf Tournament
After losing her father to dementia, Jacinthe LeClerc decided to organize an event to raise funds for the Alzheimer Society. As an avid golfer, she partnered with the Tabusintac Regional Golf Club to launch her annual Golf Tournament. Since it’s launch in 2022, the tournament has become a sold-out event, bringing together golfers and supporters to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer’s disease.
Bake Sale
The Chaleur Region Volunteer Committee knows how sweet it is to fundraise! Each year, this group of talented bakers organizes a holiday bake sale in Bathurst and the treats always sell out fast! This popular bake sale grows larger (and more delicious) each year.
Shred Event
Mitchell Realty, a real estate team in Saint John, organizes an annual Shred Event to give back to the community. In exchange for a donation, people can drop off anything from a small bag to a truckload of documents for secure shredding. These events not only help community members securely and conveniently destroy their documents, but also raise awareness about data security and support a good cause.
Forget-Me-Not Tour
Since 2018, Jim Landry has taken his bike on his annual Forget Me Not Tour in memory of his mother who passed away three years after being diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. This solo bicycle ride is his way of raising awareness and funds for a cause that is close to his heart. Over the past seven years, Jim has pedalled and peddled across Canada and Europe, using his journey to help those living with dementia and their families.
Coin Box Collection
Since 1998, Estey’s Fish and Chips has raised over $90,000 for our organization! This seasonal family-owned take-out in Miramichi has shown unwavering support, and we are absolutely blown away by their dedication. They are a shining example of how a business can integrate a meaningful cause into its culture, proving that everyone can make a difference while raising both funds and awareness.
