Your privacy is always respected. All information regarding your correspondence and contributions to the Quebec Federation of Alzheimer Societies is held in the strictest confidence. We are committed to the principles of the ACM Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
Common Questions
1. How do I get my receipt?
Online donors will automatically receive an email acknowledgement. If you make a donation by mail, fax or phone, we will send you a receipt by mail. We issue official tax receipts for all donations of $20 or more. If you would like a receipt for less than $20, please let us know. Number: 89267 8863RR0001.
2. How often will you contact me
As a donor to the Quebec Federation of Alzheimer Societies (QFAS), you will receive updates on Alzheimer's disease issues, caregiver support projects and research breakthroughs in the form of letters or newsletters. From time to time, you will also be invited to reiterate your support for the Quebec Federation of Alzheimer Societies. We hope you will respond favorably to these requests. If you would prefer that we contact you only once a year, please let us know at info@alzheimerquebec.ca.
3. Can I make a donation by automatic monthly withdrawal directly from my account?
You can become a monthly donor by choosing monthly donation in this online form. Your credit card will be charged automatically once a month. For more information, please contact info@alzheimerquebec.ca.
4. What if I move?
We would like to make sure we have your correct address to send you your tax receipts, updates and newsletters. Simply contact us at info@alzheimerquebec.ca and be sure to include both your old and new addresses.
5. As an FQSA donor, how can I stay informed about the Federation's activities?
Through our social media posts (Facebook), newsletters and regular mailings, we will keep you up to date on the latest research findings on Alzheimer's disease and the various ways your donations are helping people with this devastating disease.
