Join us in Barrington on September 25, 2025 to learn more about dementia and the importance of community connections.
This event will include presentations from people in your community to learn more about living well with dementia and local resources available to help. Doors will open at 1:00 p.m. to browse tables of community resources with presentations beginning at 1:30 p.m.

- Sandra Hubbard, Regional Coordinator of Education & Outreach at the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia
- Shawna Symonds, Senior Safety Coordinator for Shelburne County
- Karine Smith, Behaviour Resource Consultant with Nova Scotia Health
Community Week is an annual week-long series of events held in communities province-wide.
These events aim to provide education on dementia-related topics, Alzheimer Society programs and services and other community resources to help individuals on their dementia journey.
