Would you like to know more about Memory Kits? Join Erin Morice, Halifax Public Libraries, and Beth House, ASNS, as they talk about what is a memory kit, what's in them and how to create your own whether you are a library branch, another organization or an individual.

Beth House

Beth House, BRec, is an Education Coordinator at the Alzheimer Society Nova Scotia. She facilitates education, delivers public presentations and supports clients on the Dementia Helpline. With a therapeutic recreation background specializing in geriatric populations, Beth spent 20 years working in long term care, enhancing quality of life for the residents she served. Beth has held various volunteer roles on provincial Therapeutic Recreation Boards and with Nova Scotia Horticulture for Health Network. When Beth is not working, she is busy in her garden or with her husband, two kids, and dog Rory.

Erin Morice

Erin is the Manager of Collection Development with Halifax Public Libraries. Erin and her team are responsible for selecting, buying, and promoting the Library’s collection of books, e-books, DVDs, and more! Erin is passionate about providing free access to resources and building a collection that contains something for everyone.
