National Philanthropy Day
Thank you to the presenters at this year's annual provincial conference, who lent us not only their time, but their expertise and knowledge.
Philanthropy (noun)
phi· lan· thro· py | /fə’lanTHrəpē/
The practice of giving money and time to help make life better for other people. Goodwill to fellow members of the human race.
Today is National Philanthropy Day, and we’d like to take the opportunity to thank our philanthropists, the people who help us do what we do. They give us their time as volunteers and money as donors and we appreciate every minute and every dollar.
A group of philanthropists we’d like to extend a huge thank you to today are the presenters at last month’s provincial conference. These individuals lent us not only their time, but their expertise and knowledge. We brought together over 400 members of the Nova Scotia dementia sector to discuss a very important topic – Supporting Dementia in all its Diversity. Our speakers did not shy away from challenging topics, sparking insightful and innovative discussions. We couldn’t have done it without the 24 presenters who led 18 sessions.
THANK YOU!
