Amount: $30,000 grant over 12 months

1. Complete the Research Project Proposal Form

Applications should be submitted in French. If the application is written in English, the project presentation in lay-language must be submitted in French.   

Please complete the  Form (available by September 2026) and save it in PDF format for submission. 

2. Applications

Applications must be submitted through the portal (available in September 2026). They must include: 

  • Research Project Proposal Form, including an annex of three pages maximum for the project’s proposal references, tables and figures. (please save the proposal in PDF format) 
  • Proof of enrolment or acceptance in a master’s level program from a University in Quebec.  
  • University transcripts (official copies of all undergraduate and graduate studies) or certified translations.  
    • Scans of official transcripts are permitted. Please retain the original copy for verification. 
    • Official copies are those delivered by your registrar’s office. 
    • This includes transcripts obtained through student exchange programs.
  • Narrative CV, formatted according to Fonds de recherche du Québec (FRQ) or Try-agency  
  • Letter of reference from your research supervisor or a professor who knows you well.
