The Alzheimer Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories supports individuals through seven regional offices in Edmonton, Fort McMurray, Grande Prairie, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, Red Deer and Yellowknife. The Board of Directors sets the direction for the Society to enable the provision of education, resources, and support for persons with dementia, their families and care partners. The Board also supports and commits funds to dementia research to find a cause and cure.
