What is Anything for Alzheimer's?
Anything for Alzheimer’s™ is an Alzheimer Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories program that enables people across the province and territories to host independent fundraising events and campaigns to support people living with dementia.
Why Take Part?
Across Canada there are more than half a million people currently living with dementia. This number is expected to double by 2031. Over 59,000 Albertans and Northwest Territorians are affected by Alzheimer’s disease or another form of dementia. By hosting your own Anything for Alzheimer’s fundraiser, you will join other people and organizations dedicated to making a difference in the lives of care partners and people living with dementia in your community.

Event Ideas
Being a fundraiser takes a little creativity, some planning, and the desire to make a difference in the lives of people affected by dementia. Here are a few ideas:
- host a Coffee Break,
- organize an in person event,
- organize a virtual activity or live stream an event, or
- create a challenge for yourself that friends and family can sponsor.

How to Enter
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. To obtain one (1) entry into the Contest, participants can purchase tickets (amounts set out below) during the Contest Period by sending an email to afocontest@cibc.com:
- 1 ticket for $20 CAD;
- 3 tickets for $50 CAD; and/or
- 10 tickets for $100 CAD
Limit: One (1) entry per person.
To enter the Contest without purchasing a ticket during the Contest Period, type or clearly handwrite on a blank piece of paper an original essay on the importance of financial literacy to a minimum of 250 words, together with your first name, last name, telephone number, email address, and age. Email the above information during the Contest Period to afocontest@cibc.com. Each valid email received that meets these requirements will result in one (1) entry in the Contest. All email entries must be sent within the Contest Period and received by the draw date (as set out below). Email entries made in any fashion other than as specified herein are void.
