Looking for a tax receipt for your donation?
We issue official income tax receipts for all donations that are $20 or more. If you would like a receipt for a donation that is less than $20, please contact us by telephone at 1-866-950-5465 or by email at giving@alzheimer.ab.ca.

Call toll-free 1-866-950-5465 from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. MT Monday to Friday.
Please have your credit card number ready. We accept VISA and Mastercard. Outside these hours, you can leave a voice message with your name and phone number, and we will gladly return your call on the next business day.
Leave a Gift in Your Will
By leaving a gift in your will, you can plan your charitable gift to provide the greatest benefit to you, your family, and the Alzheimer Society.

Donate Securities
You can make a healthy investment and reduce your taxes by donating securities to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories.

If you would like a 2024 tax receipt, please initiate transfers by December 9, 2024, which will allow time for the sale to be finalized by December 31st, considering potential holiday closures and processing times.
Corporate Matching Gifts
Many employers offer charitable corporate matching gift programs to recognize their staff and retirees’ charitable contributions and achieve their company’s philanthropic goals. Matched gifts are a great way to make your gift work even harder for people touched by dementia.

Anything for Alzheimer's
The Anything for Alzheimer’s program enables people across Alberta and Northwest Territories to host independent fundraising events and campaigns to support people living with dementia.
Anything for Alzheimer’s allows you to use your creative ideas, outstanding talents, and inspiring passions to turn anything into your own fundraising event. Donate Your Bottles
Want to save time in your day, avoid going to the bottle depot in-person, and help support people living with dementia? Donate your recyclable beverage containers to Skip the Depot! They'll come to your house, pick up your empties and donate the proceeds to us!

Grande Prairie Bottle Donations
To donate your bottles in Grande Prairie, please take them to Plus I Bottle Depot (10910-105A Avenue) or Plus II Bottle Depot (7601 Resources Rd) and ask them to credit them to Power Plus Card number 2234.

Donate Your Car
Donate a Car Canada accepts vehicle donations for the Alzheimer Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories. Free towing is provided in most areas across Canada, or you can drop off your vehicle to maximize your donation.
When you donate your car, truck, RV, boat, or motorcycle, Donate a Car Canada will look after all the details to make it easy for us to benefit. After your vehicle donation is complete, we will send you a tax receipt and put your gift to good use.
