Canada Post Service Interruption UPDATE
Alberta and Northwest Territories
What you need to know if you are sending something to us.
UPDATE for December 17th, 2024:
Canada Post is back in action, but it still may affect some of our services. Here’s how you might be impacted:
Donors
- Donations sent via mail may be delayed in reaching us. To ensure you receive a 2024 charitable tax receipt for your donation, please make your gift online, by phone at 1-866-950-5465, or by dropping your check off at one of our offices before noon on December 24. Please call ahead to ensure a staff member is available to greet you.
- Hard copy charitable tax receipts may also be delayed in delivery. For an emailed receipt, please get in touch with us at 1-866-950-5465 or help@alzheimer.ab.ca
Clients
- Information kits with paper copies of our resources may still be delayed as the Canada Post system catches up to the demand. Those already in transit should be coming soon. However, all resources are available online and by email. Please reach out at 1-866-950-5465 or help@alzheimer.ab.ca if you need them.
Stay connected with us by signing up for our quarterly e-newsletter – we’ll keep you in the loop with what’s happening here at the Alzheimer Society and dementia resources in Alberta and Northwest Territories. Subscribe by emailing communications@alzheimer.ab.ca.
