Our Programs and Services
The Alzheimer Society of Ontario offers many programs and services that can provide information, resources, education, support, and counseling that will help people living with dementia understand their diagnosis and live well.
ALZeducate
ALZeducate is an online resource for best practice dementia education. Build your knowledge and skills to live well or support people living with dementia. Live webinars and on-demand courses are provided by the Alzheimer Society for people living with dementia, care partners, health care providers, and anyone that wants to learn more about dementia.

Dementia Dialogue
Dementia Dialogue is a podcast featuring people living with dementia, their care partners, and supporters sharing experiences from across Canada. They demonstrate their capacity to live fully and enable peer listeners to understand and gain insight and strengthen their adaptive skills. Episodes also enhance understanding within the broader community of what it means to live with dementia.

Dementia Friendly Communities™
People with dementia and their care partners have the right to live well in the community, together. With the help of Dementia Friendly Communities™ training, we can create Dementia Friendly Communities™ to better understand the everyday experiences of people living with dementia.

Finding Your Way®
Finding Your Way® helps people living with dementia, their families, care partners, and communities recognize the risks of going missing, be prepared for incidents of going missing, and ensure that people with dementia can live safely in the community.

First Link®
First Link® is a referral program designed to help connect newly diagnosed people with dementia, their care partners, and families to the support, information, and resources they need as soon as possible.

Minds in Motion®
Minds in Motion® is a community-based social program that incorporates physical activity and mental stimulation for people with early to mid-stage signs of dementia and their care partners.

U-First!®
U-First!® is a training program designed to help frontline staff develop a common knowledge base, language, and approach to caring for people with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.

U-First!® Advanced
U-First!® Advanced is an education program for health care providers with a direct care role who have already taken U-First!® for Health Care Providers at least 6 months prior and want to enhance their skills and ability to apply the U-First!® Framework.
