Youth in Action: A Toolkit for Young Dementia Supporters
This toolkit is designed for kids in grade 5 and up (age 9 and older) who want to become Dementia Supporters! If you want to learn about dementia and how you can help people who have dementia in your family or in your community, this Toolkit is for you!

A youth from the Co-design Team and senior look over the Toolkit together.
In the Toolkit you will find:
- Information about dementia
- Ways to support people who have dementia
- Games and an action plan to help you use what you learned
If you are a parent, guardian, teacher or leader to a young person who wants to use this toolkit, visit the final page of the toolkit for additional resources.
Note: Most Toolkit sections can be used as stand alone documents for children of younger ages or for shorter introductions to the topic.
