We offer a variety of training formats to meet the preferences and needs of health-care staff across British Columbia. Our flexible delivery options ensure everyone can access the training. Learn more about each modality below and find the one that works best for you or your team.


More about U-First!® in-person workshops
U-First!® in-person workshop is held at a convenient location for you. The workshop is seven hours, including breaks. Lunch will be provided (dietary restrictions can be sent through the order form). Minimum of 10 and maximum of 20 participants. Sessions may be exclusive to a single care home or open to designated staff in the area.

U-First!® virtual workshop takes place online using Zoom. The workshop is seven hours, including breaks. Minimum of 10 and maximum of 20 participants, all of whom are from a single health authority.

More about U-First!® e-Learning course
U-First!® e-learning course spans over three weeks. It is offered in a blended format with self-paced e-learning modules and discussion forums. Participants will complete weekly activities and attend a live online discussion via Zoom in the third week. This course requires an estimated weekly time commitment of 2 hours. Minimum of 10 and maximum of 30 participants. Open to designated staff from across all five health authorities.
