Biomarkers are signals of health or disease used by physicians as part of their diagnostic toolkit. Dr. Mari DeMarco is Clinical Chemist at Providence Health Care and Clinical Professor in UBC’s Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. Dr. Natanya Russek is a UBC Behavioural Neurology and Dementia Fellow and Clinical Instructor with UBC’s Division of Geriatric Medicine.
