2024 Charity Dinner silent auction

We are thrilled to announce the Charity Dinner for Alzheimer’s will take place on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at the Continental Seafood Restaurant in Richmond. This event aims to raise awareness about the growing need for dementia support and education in the Chinese Community, and funds to support the Alzheimer Society of B.C. in providing programs and services to people living with dementia and their families, as well as enable dementia research.

In February 2024, the 3rd annual Charity Dinner was attended by more than 450 guests who came together and helped raise more than $154,000.

In B.C., there are more than 85,000 people living with dementia. In the next 30 years, the number of people living with the disease will increase dramatically to more than 245,000 people.

Although there is no cure for dementia, we can take action to improve brain health and reduce the risks of dementia. One way is by adopting a healthy diet. Inspired by recipes from Alex Mok, Executive Chef at OPAL by Element, and Mrs. Bernice Taam, award-winning celebrity chef, the menu for the Charity Dinner will be healthy and delicious!

The silent auction is a favourite part of the evening among our guests, featuring many unique and sought-after items. Every bid is a step toward helping community members affected by dementia.
