The Alzheimer Society of B.C. will be closed between December 24, 2022 through January 2, 2023 to mark the holiday season.

We know that the holidays can be a difficult time for many families. Our First Link® Dementia Helpline will be available for anyone who has questions about dementia or memory loss: 

  • First Link® Dementia Helpline (English): 1-800-936-6033 
    Holiday hours: December 28, 29 and 30 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., then regular hours (Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.) will resume on January 3. 
  • First Link® Dementia Helpline (Cantonese and Mandarin): 1-833-674-5007 
    Holiday hours: Closed starting at noon on December 23, 2022, then regular hours (Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) will resume on January 4, 2023. 
  • First Link® Dementia Helpline (Punjabi): 1-833-674-5003 
    Holiday hours: Closed starting at noon on December 23, 2022, then regular hours (Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) will resume on January 4, 2023.
