  - LATE-NCLimbic-predominant age-related TDP-43 encephalopathy (or LATE-NC) is the most recently identified form of dementia, noted for its close similarity to Alzheimer’s.

This presentation will help you become aware of the changes in abilities, behaviour, and communication that can be caused by dementia. Join our Public Awareness Coordinator on October 21st, 2025. 12:00 pm (CST) to learn about the 10 evidence-based signs of dementia.

Dementia can cause changes in Abilities, Behaviour, and Communication that affect an individual’s daily life.

These changes – the ABCs of Dementia – include, but are not limited to, memory loss that affects day to day abilities, disorientation in time and space, and problems with abstract thinking.

Becoming aware of dementia and the changes in abilities, behaviour, and communication it can cause, improves our ability to access an earlier diagnosis and support should we notice these signs in ourselves or others we care for.
